ACUTE EXPOSURE INFORMATION

  1. Isophorone may be irritating to the eyes, skin, and mucous membranes. Signs and symptoms of exposure may include olfactory changes, faintness, headache, CNS depression, fatigue, malaise, a feeling of suffocation, and nausea. Skin contact may result in dermatitis due to the defatting action of isophorone.
  1. Kidney and liver damage and pulmonary edema have been observed in experimental animals.
