ACUTE EXPOSURE INFORMATION

  1. Butyric acid is a mild to moderate irritant that causes easily reversible changes after termination of exposure.
  1. Systemic symptoms are unlikely, but if large amounts were ingested, nausea, vomiting, and CNS depression might occur. Inhalation of high concentrations may produce dyspnea and bronchial irritation.
